Visit to Saint Catherine Monastery to experience a day of beauty and a touch of history, culture and religious heritage. One of the oldest working Christian monastery in the world is located at the foot of Mount Sinai, and it is marvel in the middle of the arid desert. It encloses the basilica built by the Emperor Justinian I in 527 a.C, strikingly beautiful in its simplicity. Among its treasures also a library of ancient manuscripts and icons, second only to the Vatican’s itself and the Byzantine chapel reputed to lie directly on the site of the Burning Bush.

Pick up from the Resort late in the evening to drive to Mount Sinai, which is about 2.5 hours . Once arrived you will walk 2.284 mt to reach the top of Gebel Moussa and wait for the new day to begin, enjoying a stunning sunrise view. Then time to descend and take the chance to visit St Catherine's Monastery. Return to the hotel for lunch time.

Rows of shops along the street, full of colours, sounds and scents that offer anything you may need: handicrafts, artwork, jewelry... Traditional and shisha bars, where you can relax laying on cushion floors as long as you wish.
You will admire also the new, impressive El Sahaba Mosque, considered the most important of the decade and the second biggest in Sharm El Sheikh.
